  I never had a happy birthday this year 5/7

  my wife had a hip replacement on june the 17th and while the op itself was apparently succesful ,she has had a reaction to the anesthetic ?

  and has suffered delirium and is still in hospital with no apparent improvement.. its been very distressing for me to say the least.

  sorry if i sound a bit morbid but i just had to share,.

  My JW father ( in his late 70's ) suffered from delirium, and was hospitalised for 5 months in 2018.
  
  This is what I recall of our family experience here in Australia:
  
  In early December 2017, Dad was told he would be having an operation in mid-late January 2018 to replace a leaky heart valve.

  ( unbeknownst to people who were there )

  gone into a state of delirium at my parents home in Victoria, I was able to hear what was transpiring via phone link to me in New South Wales with JW family who were in attendance... he was making all kinds of accusations ( I won't go into detail here ) about some people, including my siblings and Elders at the hall..... a local congregation Elder had come to Dads house and was in the process of getting into a heated argument with my father....

  Sorry to hear of your predicament @Smiddy3,
  .....delirium is so frustrating and mentally exhausting when a loved one is affected by it, to be sure.
  
  I'm very late to the discussion, but I am glad to hear your wife is in the recovery stage at home.... however, I will comment for the benefit of the group if you'd like to hear of my family's experience with delirium.

  Does anyone have a photo copy they can share of a TMS topic?

  i am looking for a tms that was published in the early 70s that said many have sold homes to go where the need was great, this is a fine way to spend ones time in the last days.

  i am trying to remember how it was said to the best of my knowledge but this is close.

  As an unbaptised publisher in good standing I separated myself in 1991 from what turned out to be a high control organisation claiming to be the Abrahamic gods "non-profit" "charity" "prophet" and purveyors of "Truth"....later in 2014 and moreso in 2019, I decided to join the "frey" of the exjws to show my support for both victims, and survivors of abuse.
  
  I saw Lloyd as a voice I could relate to and promote as someone who was calm and well expressed.
  
  While I did notice a few quirks that indicated to me a likelihood of an underlying mental health issue..(such as his tendency to rock back and forth)..I was not overly concerned; because of the type of people who were promoting him and working with him.
  
  However the rumours of his harsh encounters with CSA survivors and reports from close friends of Lloyd behaving badly was becoming too loud to ignore...and then Kim Silvio's exposé came out.
  
  While I still wanted to be cautious about how I reacted to this potentially mentally unwell man's actions, and I didn't like the way it appeared to disintegrate into a dog fight....after a few days and weeks it became abundantly clear that I was wrong to continue subscribing to Lloyd Evan's channel or trying to see his side with any benefit of doubt.
  
  I, for one just thought he had a shit personality, like so many Exjw's who were and always will be assholes; the evidence was overwhelming on that front....but what is dynamically transpiring from the man himself, as we post our responses and comments will give everyone in earshot a clear picture of what and who Lloyd Evans really is.

  Doing really well, thank you.

  It certainly is a challenge for many to stay home and safe as much as possible while infection numbers are high , and only venture out as necessary with a mask and hand sanitizer handy, being careful to be aware of where your hands have been etc.

  Like most vaccines, there will be mild side effects for some and others may be allergic, but if a majority are inoculated against the virus, that will provide a protection for those who can't have the vaccine....just like the polio vaccine.

  I've been quite busy with work, family and other commitments, but we've just had some time off work enjoyed an extended long weekend for Australia Day and had time to relax.

  Looking forward to your next round with a smile🍻🍻

  Thanks again Petra, I'm amazed they didn't discard the brown "Reasoning" book.

  Page 200 and page 234 and the argumentation in between, under the heading "last days" has become untenable surely?
